After what seemed like a year of nothing but overcast skies, rain and horizontal- blowing mist, the sun has reappeared over Charlotte, North Carolina. My yearnings to live somewhere else, like maybe the Pacific Northwest, have been squelched. Thank you Mother Nature for teaching me an important lesson. I. Need. Sun.
Here is a photo (sorry, kind of blurry) of the sun making her debut over Ballantyne one evening. You can see the front moving away and the sun glowing red in excitement over the low hanging clouds. Isn't it just magical?
