The many faces of gift opening

Yesterday, my sweet aunts, on my mom's side, threw me a lovely bridal shower at my grandmother's house in Winston-Salem. It was delightful! My grandmother is one of 13 or 14 kids, and many of her remaining siblings and their children sent me the nicest cards and gifts. And many of my cousins who live all over the US from Alaska to Florida - literally! - sent a special gift. Talk about feeling special!

BUT - after flipping through the photos my sister took, I can say that present opening photos are hideous and best reserved for blackmail or your computer's recycling bin.

P.S. for a great punch recipe - 1.5 liters of Cheerwine to 48 ounces of pineapple juice, with a ginger ale ice ring...yummy!
